The purpose of this article is to conduct a comprehensive economic analysis of the components of field crop cultivation technology on sod-podzolic soils in the Polissya region of Ukraine, with a focus on justifying effective fertilization systems and optimal moisture management regimes that ensure increased productivity of agrocenoses and profitability of production. The relevance of the study stems from the need to develop and implement effective, economically viable, and environmentally safe fertilization systems that would ensure increased productivity of field crops and the competitiveness of agricultural production in the face of modern global challenges. An important aspect of the ecological and economic analysis of crop cultivation technologies is determining the cost structure for sowing, crop care, and harvesting, which makes it possible to identify opportunities for reducing material and technical resources and energy costs in specific areas, such as fertilizers, plant protection products, fuels and lubricants, etc. This, in turn, depending on the impact of various tillage methods and fertilizer application rates, helps to adjust production processes and increase the profitability of crop cultivation within the crop rotation system.
