Abstract

This article is dedicated to the development of a methodological approach to ensuring the competitiveness of an enterprise through operational response. The aim of the research is to analyze, systematize, and summarize the existing theoretical foundations and improve the methodological support for the competitiveness of an enterprise through operational response. The article discusses the essence of enterprise competitiveness, approaches to ensuring the competitiveness of agro-industrial enterprises in the context of rapid market changes. The study presents an analysis of modern monitoring and controlling tools that enable effective management of production processes, timely identification of deviations, and making well-grounded management decisions. The study substantiates the importance of integrating monitoring systems and controlling systems to achieve the enterprise's strategic goals. A methodological approach to ensuring the competitiveness of an enterprise through operational response to changes in the external environment is proposed. Key aspects influencing the enterprise’s ability to adapt to market conditions are identified, including strategic planning, innovation, customer orientation, effective resource management, adaptability, and organizational structure flexibility. The study highlights the role of innovative technologies, such as digitalization and business process automation, in improving enterprise management efficiency. The research also reveals the main advantages of using forecasting tools in decision-making. By modeling market development scenarios, enterprises are able not only to react to changes but also to anticipate them. In modern economic conditions and globalization, the speed and accuracy of decision-making become crucial factors for success. The approach proposed in this article is focused on ensuring the long-term sustainability and development of agro-industrial enterprises. The use of monitoring and controlling systems, as well as innovative solutions, aims at optimizing resources, reducing costs, and increasing productivity. This allows enterprises to not only maintain competitive positions but also ensure their sustainable development in the face of high market dynamics.
