STRATEGIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE INTEGRATION OF UKRAINE’S CREATIVE BUSINESS INTO EUROPEAN MARKETS

Abstract

The article examines the strategic opportunities for integrating Ukraine’s creative business into European markets in the context of European integration processes and the transformation of the national economy. It is substantiated that creative industries represent a system-forming component of an innovation-driven development model, capable of generating high added value, enhancing export potential, and strengthening national competitiveness in the international arena. The study emphasizes the multidimensional nature of integration, encompassing economic, institutional, cultural, and technological dimensions.

Based on the synthesis of contemporary academic approaches and European Union practices, the key strategic directions for integrating Ukraine’s creative business into European markets are systematized. These include participation in European value-added chains, harmonization of the institutional and legal environment, engagement in EU programs supporting creative industries, digitalization of business processes, and the development of creative clusters. It is demonstrated that the network-based structure of creative value chains provides favorable conditions for the gradual integration of Ukrainian creative enterprises through international partnerships, co-production mechanisms, and digital platforms.

The research substantiates that the implementation of these strategic opportunities contributes to the modernization of the creative sector, strengthening its innovation capacity, and enhancing Ukraine’s positive international image. It is concluded that the integration of creative business into European markets has not only economic significance but also broader socio-institutional implications, acting as a catalyst for structural reforms and sustainable development of the national economy.
