Abstract

The article delves into the essence and challenges of managing Ukraine's sustainable development under the complex conditions of war. It emphasizes that, in light of current events, the global community is compelled to reassess the global sustainable development goals, particularly focusing on the socio-economic aspects of the development process. In the context of ensuring Ukraine's sustainable economic development, the growth of the agricultural sector and the diversification of its funding sources through effective lending mechanisms have gained critical strategic importance. The article underscores the need for robust state support for preferential lending aimed at strengthening the country’s economy and securing food security in the region. The key support programs available to agricultural producers are also identified, highlighting their role in fostering the resilience of the agricultural sector. Furthermore, the article explores the factors that underline the significance of developing a comprehensive agricultural business lending system, which is crucial for the sustainable economic development of Ukraine. The research highlights how the efficiency of credit support in the agricultural sector directly influences the pace of technological modernization, productivity enhancement, and the potential for expanding exports. These factors, in turn, shape the strategic development prospects of Ukraine’s entire agro-industrial complex, positioning it as a major player in the global food market. In addition, the article presents a series of key measures designed to improve the lending system for domestic agricultural enterprises. These measures are aimed at strengthening the capacity of agricultural businesses to adapt to the challenges posed by wartime conditions and to ensure long-term sustainability, growth, and competitiveness on both the domestic and international fronts. The findings of the article provide essential insights into the critical role of agricultural lending in Ukraine's post-war recovery and future development.
