DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF ENTERPRISE BUSINESS PROCESSES IN THE CONTEXT OF ENSURING ECONOMIC SECURITY

Abstract

The article examines the features of digital transformation of enterprise business processes in the context of ensuring economic security under conditions of wartime instability and increased uncertainty. It is substantiated that digitalization acts as a key driver of efficiency, adaptability, and competitiveness of enterprises, while simultaneously generating a wide range of new risks and threats. Particular attention is paid to the identification and systematization of digital risks, including cyber threats, data breaches, technological dependence, and vulnerabilities of IT infrastructure. The study proves that digital risks have a cross-functional nature and affect all major business processes, including operational, logistics, financial, marketing, human resource, and customer service activities. This determines the necessity of forming an integrated system of economic security that combines digital transformation tools with risk management and information protection mechanisms. The paper systematizes key risks by business processes and defines essential parameters for their assessment, which enhances the quality of managerial decision-making.

A structural model of the interrelation between business processes, digital risks, and mitigation tools is proposed, demonstrating the need for a comprehensive and differentiated approach to managing digital threats. The findings highlight that the effectiveness of digital transformation largely depends on the level of digital competencies of personnel, the quality of management decisions, and the ability of enterprises to adapt to rapid technological changes.

The results can be used to improve the economic security systems of enterprises, as well as to develop strategies for sustainable development in the context of digital transformation. Further research should focus on quantitative assessment of digital risks and the development of sector-specific models for ensuring economic security.
