PROJECT MANAGEMENT AS A TOOL FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The prospects of implementing project activities to ensure the development of entrepreneurship is approved in the paper.  The necessity of more detailed research of the problems of business structures that arise in the field of project management also is substantiated.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate theoretical recommendations in the field of project management of business structures in the context of ensuring the entrepreneurship development. The theoretical basis of the paper is scientific and methodological works, where theoretical and practical aspects of project management of business entities is analyzed. The methods of system analysis, structural modeling and theoretical generalization are used in the paper.

The main research concepts are analyzed. It was established that the main difference between a type of entrepreneurial activity and a business project is the time limitation of the implementation of a business project. An idea about the importance of project activities as a component of the entrepreneurial activity of business structures and their temporal coherence in the case of simultaneous implementation was based on that conclusion. The ratios for the analysis of project activities of business entities are proposed in the paper (these indicators are proposed to be used in the case of simultaneous implementation of project and main business activities of the company). The main tasks of project management are formulated depending on its stages. The advantages of project activities in the context of ensuring the development of entrepreneurship are presented in the paper. The practical value of the work lies in the fact that the indicators of the project orientation of the business entity and the overall investment efficiency of such activities are substantiated by the authors. These ratios are indicators of the impact of project activities on the overall results of business structures and the feasibility of such activities, and therefore can be used as criteria for project management quality of the business entities. In addition, the systematization of project management tasks contributes to a more rational distribution of powers and responsibilities of managers at each stage, which in turn leads to an increase in the quality of management.
