INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY MARKET INFRASTRUCTURE

Abstract

The article examines Ukraine's agricultural machinery market infrastructure, shedding light on the core issues that hamper its growth and suggesting innovative modernization strategies. It underscores that the market's efficiency is influenced not only by production capacity and import activity but also by the development of financial, service, logistics, organizational, and digital frameworks. Key obstacles include outdated technical equipment, over-reliance on imports, inadequate credit and leasing opportunities for agricultural producers, an underdeveloped service network, low domestic innovation in agricultural engineering, and the added risks posed by ongoing wartime conditions. The study reveals that future progress in this sector depends on the seamless adoption of digital technologies, electronic platforms, smart logistics systems, novel financial tools, cooperative and cluster-based organizational models, and increased state support for local machine production. Lessons drawn from international practices in the EU, USA, Canada, and China are analyzed to identify practical solutions adaptable to Ukraine's specific needs. The proposed strategic measures prioritize enhancing financial and leasing systems, boosting local manufacturing, expanding digital and service infrastructure, promoting collaboration through clusters and cooperatives, and fostering international technological partnerships. The overarching conclusion is that modernizing this market infrastructure is crucial for elevating the competitiveness of Ukraine’s agricultural sector while equipping it to navigate current challenges effectively.
