Abstract

The purpose of the article is to substantiate and develop a comprehensive approach based on the application of integrated models of team interaction grounded in People Analytics tools, emotional intelligence, and gamification. This approach implements in practice a business model of flexible management of IT teams aimed at increasing the productivity of project activities in IT companies.

The article examines the theoretical and applied foundations of using People Analytics as a modern tool for flexible management of IT teams. It is substantiated that people analytics enables a transition from intuitive to data-driven management, improves the quality of managerial decisions, increases team productivity, employee engagement, and the effectiveness of HR processes. The key components of the People Analytics system are identified, including data collection and integration from corporate digital platforms, the use of performance, burnout, turnover, and employee satisfaction metrics, as well as risk forecasting and personalization of employee professional development.

Using the IT company GlobalLogic as an example, a step-by-step implementation mechanism of People Analytics is proposed, including goal setting, building data infrastructure, developing KPIs and dashboards, designing response scenarios, and scaling the system across all company projects. The feasibility of integrating emotional intelligence and gamification tools into the IT team management business model is demonstrated, as it contributes to creating a psychologically safe environment, enhancing motivation, improving communication, and developing a culture of continuous learning.

An economic justification for the implementation of the proposed solutions is provided. The results of calculations confirm the high effectiveness of investments in People Analytics due to reduced employee turnover, decreased burnout levels, increased team productivity, and optimization of training and development costs. It is determined that the use of People Analytics combined with emotional intelligence and gamification is a promising direction for enhancing the competitiveness of IT companies in the digital economy.

The practical significance lies in the development of methodological foundations for implementing People Analytics, emotional intelligence, and gamification tools in the business model of flexible IT team management.

The scientific value of the research lies in the proposed methodological approach to integrating emotional intelligence and gamification into flexible IT team management business models based on People Analytics.
