Insufficiently effective planning of transport processes can lead to an increase in the duration of transportation, overspending of material resources and a decrease in the productivity of transport and production. Improving the planning system allows you to optimize transportation routes, increase the level of use of vehicles and reduce costs at industrial enterprises. Rational organization of transport is an important component of the effective operation of an enterprise, since the timeliness of cargo delivery, the level of costs and the overall effectiveness of economic activity depend on the level of planning of transport processes. The discrepancy between the volume of transportation, the capabilities of vehicles and the needs of the enterprise often leads to inefficient use of resources, increased costs and delays in the performance of production or sales operations. That is why the issue of improving the transport planning system is of particular importance for ensuring the stable operation of the enterprise.
The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations for improving the planning system for the transportation of material resources at production enterprises.
The methods used in the article include analysis and synthesis - to generalize theoretical provisions; comparison - for evaluating the performance of the enterprise; economic and statistical methods - for processing and analyzing data; graphical method - for visual presentation of results; logical generalization - for forming conclusions and proposals.
It is substantiated that improving the transportation planning system will contribute to increasing the efficiency of using vehicles, reducing transportation costs and improving the organization of transportation processes at the enterprise.
