The article substantiates the theoretical and methodological foundations for forming a management system for the logistics potential of an enterprise. In modern conditions of globalization, increased competition, and dynamic changes in consumer preferences, the problem of effective logistics potential management is particularly relevant. The logistics potential is considered as an integrated set of resources, capabilities, and competencies in the field of flow process management, which determines the enterprise’s ability to ensure effective movement of material, information, and financial flows to achieve strategic goals. The study systematizes the structural elements of logistics potential, including resource components (material and technical base, financial resources, human resources), process components (flow management technologies, logistics operations), competency components (knowledge, skills, experience in logistics management), and information components (information systems, databases, communication networks). The research identifies five key strategic orientations for forming the logistics potential management system: integration of logistics processes, customer orientation, flexibility and adaptability, innovation, and sustainable development. A conceptual model of the logistics potential management system has been developed, based on the principles of systematicity, goal orientation, adaptability, and continuous improvement. The model integrates resource, process, and information subsystems, ensuring their coordinated interaction to achieve the enterprise’s strategic goals. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their use by enterprises for developing strategies for logistics potential development and forming effective logistics management systems. Further research should focus on developing methodological tools for quantitative assessment of logistics potential, building models for forecasting its development, and studying the impact of digital technologies on the transformation of enterprise logistics systems.
