Abstract

 

The article explores the theoretical and practical principles of innovative development as key determinants of ensuring the self-development of the territory in the context of modern global challenges and post-war recovery of Ukraine. It is substantiated that in the context of the formation of a knowledge economy and digitalization, innovations become a determining factor in the competitiveness of states and regions, after which they ensure the effective use of intellectual potential, increase labor productivity and the formation of new models of economic growth. The current trends in innovative development in the global dimension are analyzed based on the indicators of the Global Innovation Index, which made it possible to place the positions of leading countries and establish the resignation of Ukraine according to key indicators. It is established that a significant decrease in the state's position in international rankings is due not only to structural economic problems, but also to large-scale losses as a result of military operations, destruction of infrastructure, reduction in investment activity and limitations on technology transfer opportunities. The role of self-development of the territory as an important mechanism for ensuring their stability, adaptability and recovery in the context of decentralization is substantiated. It is proven that effective self-development ensures not only the ability of territorial communities to form their own strategies for socio-economic development, but also the active implementation of innovations, the use of local resources, the development of entrepreneurship and human capital. Key areas of innovative support for the development of the territory are identified, among which smart specialization, economic clustering, diversification of activities, the development of industrial parks and digitalization occupy an important place. The need for infrastructure modernization, ensuring energy autonomy, the development of logistics systems and digital management solutions as the basis for the economic revival of regions is emphasized. It is proven that the consumer of science for the successful implementation of innovative transformations is the formation of an innovative culture, increasing the information literacy of the population and the development of the education system and.
