Abstract

The article reveals the role of digitalization as a significant factor in enhancing the competitiveness of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises in the international commodity market. It has been established that the implementation of innovative technologies and digital tools allows optimizing production processes, increasing productivity, and ensuring effective resource management. It has been found that state strategic initiatives are aimed at creating a technology transfer system and promoting the commercialization of scientific developments, which contributes to the comprehensive modernization of agricultural production. It is emphasized that the Strategy for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas in Ukraine until 2030 prioritizes the digital transformation of the agricultural sector and provides for the modernization of production processes through the introduction of innovative technologies and the expansion of knowledge exchange mechanisms. It is underlined that the practical application of digital technologies in leading agricultural companies, such as Kernel Digital and IMC in partnership with OneSoil, demonstrates increased competitiveness through the optimization of production, logistics, and management processes. It is stated that the development of digital platforms and precision farming systems ensures efficient resource utilization, reduces production costs, and complies with modern environmental standards. It is determined that the integration of digital advisory services, analytical platforms, and CRM systems contributes to the formation of a comprehensive enterprise management model and improves interaction with international partners. It is noted that the digitalization of livestock farming, as well as the use of satellite data, drones, GPS monitoring, and IoT devices, enhances the accuracy of managerial decision-making and ensures product traceability for international markets. It is highlighted that digital marketplaces and electronic trading platforms increase transparency and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. It has been established that the analysis of macroeconomic indicators and the dynamics of Ukraine’s agro-export for 2015–2024 demonstrates structural transformations and an increase in the share of agricultural products in foreign trade turnover.
