The article examines the conceptual and applied foundations of ensuring the security of agro-industrial enterprises in the context of digitalization. The study outlines the classification of digital tools and technologies that support the automation and optimization of economic processes while addressing new challenges related to enterprise security. Special attention is paid to the role of web-based instruments such as SADT, IDEF, UML, and BPMN in developing integrated models for document and workflow management, which enhance operational efficiency and safeguard critical business information. The research emphasizes that digitalization simultaneously opens new opportunities for innovation and exposes enterprises to emerging threats, including cyber risks and regulatory complexities. Therefore, ensuring economic security requires a balanced integration of digital technologies into organizational structures. The paper identifies the main vectors of digital transformation, including human resource development, digital communication systems, logistics optimization, and financial-accounting automation, all of which contribute to strengthening competitiveness and resilience. The author highlights that effective digitalization strategies must involve phased implementation—ranging from business process reform and pilot testing to digital integration and continuous innovation. Ultimately, digital transformation is positioned as a strategic determinant of sustainable development, enabling agro-industrial enterprises to adapt to global trends, increase productivity, and maintain stability under conditions of uncertainty. The findings underline the necessity of building dynamic systems of information protection, market monitoring, and innovation management to enhance economic security. The study concludes that only enterprises that systematically adopt digital tools and integrate them into long-term strategies will achieve a synergistic effect, ensuring both economic growth and security in the digital economy.
