MODERN APPROACHES TO THE MANAGEMENT OF IT PROJECTS AND STARTUPS UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The article considers innovative approaches to IT project and startups management in view of the current challenges. A comparative analysis of existing IT project management methodologies is carried out. Attention is focused on the use of flexible methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban and the possibilities of their use depending on the tasks and specifics of projects. Different project management frameworks' features, disadvantages, and advantages in the face of uncertainty, dynamic market changes, growing competition, and globalization are identified.

The methods of managing the processes of the IT project life cycle and aspects of the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence technologies that help to increase team productivity, optimize resources, reduce costs in project management, create, develop, and scale IT products and startups are considered. An important aspect of the study is the possibility of integrating artificial intelligence and digital automation depending on the stage of the IT project life cycle. The proposed digital solutions include services for generating ideas, systems for planning, task management, team communications, business intelligence tools, reporting, etc. The author notes that the use of generative artificial intelligence allows to automate routine tasks, improving teamwork, and supporting real-time decision-making. In addition to analyzing existing approaches, the article explores unresolved aspects of IT project management, including the integration of innovative technologies into all stages of the project cycle, the development of digital team skills, and tools for effective communication between stakeholders.

The results obtained are of practical value for project managers, startups, researchers, and IT professionals seeking to implement innovative technologies to optimize management processes. The article lays the groundwork for further research to improve models and methods for managing IT projects and startups in the digital economy.
