DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN ECONOMY AND ITS IMPACT ON BUSINESS PROCESSES OF ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of the "green" economy, its basic principles and goals, as well as considers and shows trends and prospects for the development of this industry in Ukraine, taking into account the current situation and problems that hinder its development at this stage. Problems related to the irrational use of natural resources, barbaric methods of doing business, not aimed at satisfying the needs of consumers and the quality of products, but only at making a profit, the use of energy-intensive technologies in economic activities with a large accumulation of waste. Today, technological, economic, environmental and social problems of enterprises lead to the revision of all systems for managing the safe existence of society and ensuring its well-being. Therefore, the emergence of the "green economy" has become necessary for society, because this type of economy combines all spheres of life.
In recent decades, due to significant negative changes in the environment, the issue of ecology, preservation and protection of the environment due to the inappropriate and irrational growing use of natural resources, the constant increase in production volumes and the growth of the number of industrial facilities that do not meet environmental standards have become increasingly relevant. In response to these challenges, many countries around the world are introducing environmentally friendly technologies, improving resource efficiency systems and actively developing the green economy. Ukraine is also beginning to move towards the necessary changes, taking the first steps in this direction. In this regard, it is extremely important to explore the potential, prospects, opportunities and main trends in the development of the "green" economy in our country.
The purpose of this study is to check the main trends and prospects for the development of the sustainable development economy in Ukraine. in order to achieve the goal, it is necessary to answer the following tasks: to test the concept of the "green economy", to summarize the basic principles of the task, to determine the promising trend in the development of an environmentally oriented economy of Ukraine.
According to the definition proposed by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), a green economy is an economic system that aims to increase the level of well-being of the population and ensure social justice, while significantly reducing environmental risks and scarcity of natural resources. The main goal of the green economy is to ensure harmonious interaction between the three main aspects of development: social well-being, economic progress and environmental protection. In other words, the green economy requires a balanced and effective integration of the social, economic and environmental components of sustainable development. It is worth emphasizing that the efforts of all participants in the transition to a green economy should take into account the need to achieve both short- and medium-term results, while directing efforts to long-term systemic transformation. Economic growth Providing resources, supporting social protection and equity, as well as funding initiatives and developing opportunities to implement green economy principles.
Today, the green economy is an integral part of sustainable development, which aims to ensure the harmonious coexistence of economic, social and environmental systems. In the context of the development of the "green" economy in Ukraine, despite the significant potential and prospects, there is currently a lack of a holistic approach and a clear strategy for the implementation of this direction. In addition, there are numerous problems that need to be urgently addressed, in particular, the issues of rational use of natural and mineral resources, environmental protection, as well as insufficient funding in this area. Therefore, today it is necessary to focus on solving existing challenges, developing an effective concept for the implementation and development of the green economy in Ukraine and actively implementing this strategy. Only through a balanced combination of environmental, economic and social components of development can our country choose the path of sustainable development and achieve economic progress and improve the living standards of the population.
