THE ROLE OF THE TRANSPORT COMPLEX IN ENSURING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the decisive role of the transport complex in ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy. The importance of transport infrastructure as a key element of economic growth and increasing the competitiveness of the country is revealed. Special attention is paid to the impact of the transport sector on environmental sustainability, social stability and economic efficiency.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the role of the transport complex in ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy, to study the impact of innovative solutions and effective management of transport infrastructure on economic growth, environmental balance and social progress. In addition, the article is aimed at identifying key areas for improving the functioning of the transport sector in the context of sustainable development.
The main challenges and prospects for the development of the transport complex in the context of hybrid threats, globalization and integration of Ukraine into the world market are analyzed. The main aspects of the policy of sustainable transport development in Ukraine are highlighted: infrastructure sustainability and restoration, European integration priorities, environmental component, logistical efficiency, social aspects, development of digital technologies. Its implementation is accompanied by specific challenges and prospects.Strategic directions for the modernization of the transport system are proposed, based on the principles of sustainable development, including the introduction of environmental innovations, increasing energy efficiency and the development of «green» transport technologies. The results of the study can be used to develop state policy in the field of transport and implement strategic programs for the development of the economy of Ukraine.
