PRESERVATION OF THE POTENTIAL FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND COMPETITIVENESS OF DOMESTIC AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR

The study focuses on the problems of managing the development of domestic agricultural enterprises. Despite the increase in the volume of production and sale of agricultural products, the growth of the financial and economic efficiency of agrarian business and the growth of its role and importance in the national economy of Ukraine, during the full-scale war, the potential for stability decreased significantly and the competitive position of domestic agricultural enterprises weakened. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the ways and means of preserving the potential for sustainability, as well as to determine the tools for strengthening the competitiveness of domestic agricultural enterprises in war conditions. It has been established that the specified difficulties have increased in the following leading functional components of agrarian business and agricultural production, in particular financial, intellectual and personnel, material and technical, technical and technological and food. Accordingly, in order to strengthen the potential of sustainability and increase the competitiveness of domestic agricultural enterprises, a set of measures should be implemented in the same directions. The leading policy instruments in this direction include: search and attraction of financial and investment support from alternative sources; optimization of the expendable part of the business; development of cooperation programs in the field of financing and investments; attraction of external investment; optimization of the number and structure of personnel; attracting highly qualified personnel; increase in personnel costs; implementation of intellectual and personnel capacity building programs; information technology modernization of production and business processes; formation of insurance stocks of elements of the material and technical base; cooperation with manufacturers and suppliers of material and technical support for agricultural production; activation of innovative and technological activity; improvement of financial and investment support for innovative development; development of cooperation with representatives of the education, science, innovation and ICT sectors; expansion of agricultural land areas, initiation and increase of production volumes, diversification of agricultural products; increase in marketing costs; development of systems for promoting agricultural products to their sales markets.
