Economic transformations in Ukraine imply an increase in innovative activity in all spheres of the economy. The main direction for the modern development of agriculture belongs to innovative activity, the main part of which is the development of innovations and the use of scientific and technical achievements. In agriculture, the beginning of innovative activity is the moment of developing innovative proposals. Innovations in the agro-industrial complex are associated with a fairly significant degree of uncertainty in obtaining the result and the greatest risk of invested funds.
The increase in competition in the agricultural product markets, low labor productivity and insufficient technical equipment of agricultural enterprises require the intensification of innovative activity in the agro-industrial complex.
The purpose of the article is to assess the level of effectiveness of the information component of innovative development of the regions of Ukraine and to propose a set of measures regarding the mechanism for implementing an innovative model of development of regional economic systems and increasing the effectiveness of innovative development of regions in the context of globalization.
The article is devoted to topical issues of innovative development of modern agriculture Ukraine. The necessity of supporting innovative development of the agricultural sector of the economy. Particular attention is paid to the assessment of information and infrastructure components to support the development of innovative agricultural. The basic shortcomings and suggest ways of improving the information infrastructure and mechanism innovation support agriculture.
