Abstract

In the article, domestic trade is considered as a sector of the economy that mediates the processes of production, sale and consumption of products (goods, services). The composition and interests of stakeholders in the context of the development and effective functioning of domestic trade are highlighted. It is emphasized that internal trade plays a system-forming role in the structure of the national economy and is one of the leading indicators of the country's economic growth and sustainable development of the regional (local) economy. The key blocks of the sectoral and sectoral subsystem of internal trade in consumer goods and services are defined - functional, organizational, social and territorial. The first is responsible for the construction of system connections (aggregate) and the effective functioning of trade subjects (traffic), which form such links as sales, mediation, wholesale and retail. The organizational block is designed to ensure the processes of organization and management of the development of domestic trade, and at different levels of economic relations - macroeconomic, regional and corporate. The existence of the social block is designed to minimize challenges and threats to the social security of society during the consumption of goods and services. Issues of territorial (spatial) balancing and development are becoming critically relevant, since internal trade is a sector of the economy, the functioning of which can become an impetus for the development of depressed and less economically developed territories. The other side of the system of domestic trade in consumer goods and services is the subsystem of regulation of domestic trade and, in fact, it is a set of mechanisms, means, tools that can be used by management subjects to influence changes in the characteristics of those objects and items that are carried out influence. The characteristics of the functioning and development of the system of internal trade in consumer goods and services are given, determining the formation and further use of its socio-economic potential. Based on their impact on the formation and implementation of almost all components of the socio-economic development potential of the internal trade system, it is proposed to identify the features as elements of this system - functional, organizational, social, territorial, institutional-resource, operational, supervisory.
