FUNCTIONING OF UKRAINIAN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WAR: THREATS TO LAND, PROBLEMS OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS, DIFFICULTIES OF EXPORT

Abstract

The article analyzes the state of activity of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine during the period of martial law and substantiates measures to ensure the safety of agricultural lands, development of their production and export in modern conditions. An analysis of the suitability of agricultural land in the front-line territories was carried out, and losses in various types of agricultural products of agricultural enterprises were revealed. The structure of crops, yield and production volumes of agricultural crops were identified, the dynamics of these indicators during the period of aggression of the Russian Federation were carried out. Changes in the yield of cultivated plants compared to previous years were studied, and price changes since the beginning of hostilities were analyzed. It is substantiated what threats the military situation carried with it. Methods and means of solving agricultural problems, ways of increasing exports were determined and analyzed. It was investigated how much agricultural land was destroyed by enemy missile and air strikes. Reserves for providing agricultural enterprises with electricity, fertilizers, and seeds were determined and investigated. It was investigated which cultural plants were sown during the martial law and in what quantities. It became clear in which regions sowing was not started due to hostilities. It has been proven that despite the war on the territory of Ukraine, agricultural enterprises have found alternatives for their functioning, use reserves of resource and production potential, which makes it possible to make a significant contribution to the economy of Ukraine, the formation of its budget revenues at the state and local levels. Measures are proposed to restore the quality of agricultural lands of agricultural enterprises, ways to increase their agricultural production and export of products.
