STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF A MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISE USING MODERN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

The article is devoted to the research of the peculiarities of strategic management of a production enterprise in the conditions of intensive use of modern information technologies. The author analyze the role of IT in increasing the efficiency of business processes, competitiveness of products and innovativeness of the enterprise. The main types of IT that are used on production enterprises, such as ERP-systems, CRM-systems, SCM-systems, BI-systems, IoT-systems, etc. are considered. The criteria for choosing IT depending on the specifics of production, goals and strategy of the enterprise are determined. The model of strategic management of a production enterprise using modern IT is developed, which includes the stages of forming a strategic vision, defining strategic goals, choosing IT, implementing IT-projects, monitoring and evaluating the results. Recommendations are made on how to improve the efficiency of strategic management of a production enterprise using modern IT.
As a result of the analysis, it can be noted that:
- Strategic management of an enterprise is an important factor in its success and competitiveness in the market. However, in the context of constant changes in the external and internal environment of the enterprise, strategic management requires effective tools for analysing, planning, implementing and monitoring strategic goals and decisions. Modern information technologies (IT) can become such tools if they are used in accordance with the specifics and needs of the enterprise.
- IT plays an important role in increasing the efficiency of business processes, product competitiveness and innovation of an enterprise, if it is used in accordance with the strategy and goals of the enterprise. This allows the enterprise to adapt to changes in the market environment, increase its competitive advantage, and create new values for its stakeholders.
- The model of strategic management of a manufacturing enterprise using modern IT is a sequential process consisting of the following stages: formation of a strategic vision, definition of strategic goals, selection of IT, implementation of IT projects, monitoring and evaluation of results. This model helps an enterprise to systematically and effectively select, implement and use IT for its strategic activities.
- Recommendations for improving the effectiveness of strategic management of a manufacturing enterprise using modern IT include regular analysis of its external and internal environment, development and implementation of IT projects in accordance with its strategy and goals, monitoring and evaluation of the results of IT use, continuous maintenance and improvement of its IT, and consideration of new trends and developments in IT.
It is also worth emphasising that the use of IT by Ukrainian IS companies is growing rapidly. Therefore, the research of the article is relevant and important, especially for the theory and practice of strategic management of a manufacturing enterprise in the context of digital transformation.
