RESEARCH DIRECTIONS OF STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN THE DOMESTIC MARKET

The research emphasizes the objectively existing need, as well as the problem of ensuring effective state management of structural changes and institutional reforms in the domestic market. The purpose of the research is to determine the scientific justification of the research areas of structural changes in the domestic market. It is shown that the issues of formation and implementation of regional economic policy of structural reforms are critically relevant, and for all types and phases of social reproduction, when more drastic changes in its structure are needed during the recession of the economy, and in the stage of growth - oriented to innovative and technological modernization, following trends of the most competitive and progressive leaders. The components and directions of the structural reform of the regional economic system are determined, namely (1) the formation of the optimal branch and product structure of the regional economy; (2) formation of a full-fledged institutional environment; (3) ensuring a rational and dynamic course of reproductive processes; (4) balancing the sectoral proportions of the regional socio-economic system; (5) activation of innovative and technological development and its contribution to strengthening the competitiveness of the regional economy. Based on the analysis of modern research results in the field of conceptual foundations of structural changes, transformation reforms, institutionalism, structural policy, etc., the directions (components, analysis criteria) of the generalization of the theoretical and methodological foundations of structural changes are determined, namely, it is shown that such are the structure of the economy by types of economic activity, a full-fledged institutional environment and institutional transformations, effective changes in reproductive processes, balanced proportions between sectors of the regional economy, innovative and technological activity and its contribution to the competitiveness of the regional economy.
