THE ROLE OF INVESTMENT PROCESSES IN THE POST-WAR DEVELOPMENT OF TRADE INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE

The study is dedicated to identifying the relationships between the activation of investment activity and the possibility of post-war recovery of the trade industry of Ukraine and its further effective development based on innovative changes. Methods of formalized analysis of scientific literature were used to solve the tasks, in combination with the analysis of statistical indicators of the development of the trade industry in the pre-war period and under the influence of a full-scale war. The impact of investment processes on the development of the trade industry has been confirmed, which gives grounds for asserting their importance for its post-war recovery. The pre-war trends of capital investments were revealed, which proves the interest of domestic investors in the development of domestic trade. The problems of the functioning of the industry in the conditions of war and the organizational problems of the management of the trade industry were revealed. The socio-economic mission of the trade industry has been clarified and the main goals of investment management in the development of trade have been formulated. The role of cooperation with foreign investors in the long term for the introduction of product, organizational and marketing innovations as the basis of post-war development is highlighted. Possible negative consequences of trade liberalization for the domestic product market and the labor market have been identified. The parameters of the institutional regulation of investment activity were developed and practical recommendations were provided for the development of a strategy for the restoration of the domestic trade industry on the basis of the sustainable development of the economy of Ukraine. The restoration of effective commercial activities based on innovativeness requires the development of mechanisms for effective innovation and investment support, which opens up prospects for further research.
