The study revealed the relevance of the issue of identifying sources, as well as the forms and means of attracting resource, in particular investment, support necessary for the preparation and implementation of projects for the innovative development of organizations that carry out activities in the field of health care. It is shown that the situation in the domestic market of innovations and investments is rapidly changing, which determines the need for new research, the results of which allow to improve the methodological and applied basis of effective management of investment and innovation support for the development of business entities, especially in such a specific field as medical. The aim of the study was to improve the theoretical, methodological and applied principles of the formation of sources of investment support for the innovative development of health care institutions. The subject of the study was the investment and innovation activity of health care institutions of private ownership and small forms of management. Among the internal sources of attracting investments for the innovative purposes of health care institutions, such areas as profit, depreciation deductions, insurance reimbursements, immobilized defense assets, and internal financial obligations are singled out and characterized. Among the external sources of investment in the innovative activities of private health care institutions, bank and budget loans, financial and investment resources of non-state investors, equity, free and charitable contributions, and grants have been identified (as the most promising). It was concluded that in order to increase the efficiency of innovative activity and its investment support for health care institutions, it is advisable to initiate the creation of local innovation clusters. This will make it possible to achieve higher financial and economic results, strengthen cooperative forms of cooperation, ensure vertical-horizontal integration, and implement all necessary types of innovations. The procedure for the formation of local innovation clusters involves the passage of such stages as initiation, motivation, attraction of investments, integration, informatization and innovative activity.
