The article examines motivation as one of the most important factors affecting the competitiveness of the company's personnel. The main prerequisites for the emergence of the concept of the competitiveness of the company's personnel are considered. The essence of the concept of "staff competitiveness" is determined, which includes the set of competitive advantages of all employees of the organization. An overview analysis of the influence of factors on the employee's competitiveness in the foreign labor market, which are directly related to the characteristics of the labor market, was carried out. An overview analysis of the system-target approach in management was carried out. The competitive advantages of personnel are formed under the influence of internal and external factors and are considered as a result of training, development and activity. Methodological approaches to the formation of a personnel motivation system at an industrial enterprise are considered. The motives that encourage a person to work effectively at the workplace are characterized. The main ideas regarding the development of the motivation of the company's personnel have been formed. The motivation factors of the company's employees were determined.
