The article highlights the theoretical foundations of forming a system for managing the logistics potential of an enterprise and substantiates that logistics potential management is a phased and systematic process that integrates a set of interrelated managerial actions aimed at the formation, development, and effective utilization of logistics resources and capabilities. It is emphasized that the logistics potential management system of an enterprise has a multi-level structure, which ensures the consistency of long-term strategic development objectives with tactical logistics decisions and the operational execution of day-to-day logistics activities.
The study reveals that an essential component of the enterprise logistics potential management system is its information support, which is based on the application of modern digital technologies. In particular, the use of digital logistics platforms, supply chain management (SCM) software, and integrated enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, and TMS enables the integration, coordination, and synchronization of logistics processes across the supply chain. The implementation of ERP, WMS, and TMS systems, along with analytics tools and process automation solutions, contributes to increased transparency of logistics operations, optimization of logistics costs, reduction of operational risks, and improvement of logistics service quality and reliability.
Special attention is paid to the role of data-driven decision-making and real-time information exchange in enhancing the adaptability and resilience of logistics systems under conditions of market uncertainty and growing competition. The article also emphasizes the importance of aligning logistics potential management with the strategic objectives of the enterprise, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to changes in the external environment.
Particular emphasis is placed on the greening of logistics and the principles of sustainable development, which are becoming a significant factor in shaping the logistics potential of modern enterprises. The incorporation of environmental considerations into logistics management, including energy efficiency, optimization of transport routes, reduction of emissions, and responsible resource use, not only minimizes negative environmental impacts but also generates additional competitive advantages. The study concludes that environmentally oriented logistics practices enhance corporate reputation, strengthen stakeholder trust, and contribute to the long-term sustainable development of enterprises.
