Abstract

The article examines the processes of development and training of personnel of business entities in modern conditions of military and economic conditions. A fundamental component of the personnel management system is achieving economic efficiency of enterprises based on the motivational model of employee training. The lack of new knowledge, skills, and experience in applying modern technologies among employees leads to a decrease in the productivity of enterprises, narrows competitive advantages, and hinders their development. The study of the personnel training process and its streamlining requires special attention given the rapid digitalization trends in society. Research into the main skill groups of workers and their interdependent impact on an individual's employability indicates that workers with a mix of skills from all groups have a lower risk of being replaced in the process of automation and the digital economy. The authors of the article believe that gaining competitive advantage requires a lot of time, energy, and other resources, and managers need to have patience, a desire to create an environment for staff training, and be willing to change strategic priorities. The article determines that the contradiction between the training of personnel required by technological progress and the results that business owners rightly demand leads to a number of paradoxes. It is analyzed that at the heart of personnel training is a paradox that cannot be avoided - the need to find the talents of individuals and, as a result, harness them in order to achieve the economic goal of the enterprise. The article proves that the challenge facing the personnel management system is to help the enterprise balance between “finding and training talent” and “unifying” at each of the six stages of the continuous review process. The authors argue that investing in personnel training demonstrates a focus on human capital development and contributes to the competitiveness of enterprises. Overall, the article emphasizes the importance of the personnel training process, which is inherently complex, and the complexities can only be managed, but can never be completely eliminated.
