The article explores strategic approaches to the implementation of agile management methodologies within the digital transformation processes of an international IT company. The study substantiates the need to perceive Agile not merely as a software development tool, but as a philosophy of organizational management that enhances adaptability, accelerates decision-making, and increases team engagement in executing innovation strategies. The author proposes a multi-level conceptual model for strategic Agile implementation, encompassing strategic, organizational, and operational management levels.
As part of the empirical research, the author analyzes the impact of changes in leadership styles, decision-making systems, and feedback mechanisms on the performance of agile teams. The transformation outcomes were assessed using both quantitative and qualitative indicators: time-to-market for new functionality, percentage of recurring defects, employee satisfaction index, duration of strategic decision-making processes, and team Agile maturity level. The author presents a proprietary Agile maturity assessment system tailored to the needs of large-scale organizations.
The findings made it possible to identify key organizational conditions that contribute to the successful scaling of agile methodologies: top management support, trust-based culture, empowerment, and data-driven decision-making. At the same time, the research highlights barriers that reduce the effectiveness of transformation efforts, including formalistic implementation, lack of strategic vision, and fragmented communication between management levels.
The practical value of the study lies in demonstrating a coherent strategic approach to Agile implementation in a high-paced IT environment. The proposed model can be adapted by other companies in the digital business domain aiming to enhance their innovation capacity and organizational flexibility under conditions of uncertainty.
