JUSTIFICATION FOR THE SELECTION OF INDICATORS INVOLVED IN THE ASSESSMENT OF ENTERPRISES' ECONOMIC SECURITY

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of ensuring the economic security of enterprises in the context of increasing global instability and growing uncertainty in the external environment. The research substantiates the need for a systematic approach to the development of algorithms for assessing economic security, which includes the identification of functional components, the establishment of relevant indicators, and the consideration of uncertainty levels. Special attention is paid to innovative enterprises, which are characterized by a heightened sensitivity to external risks and dynamic changes in the business environment. Based on the analysis of modern scientific research, the article emphasizes the importance of using integral models, clustering methods, and fuzzy logic approaches to improve the accuracy and objectivity of diagnosing the economic security of enterprises. The study highlights the need to standardize the selected indicators and determine their impact on the overall security level, especially under conditions of incomplete or ambiguous information. The article also identifies unresolved aspects related to the selection of optimal sets of indicators for assessing economic security, particularly the integration of financial stability, market activity, innovation potential, and reputation into a unified analytical model. Future research perspectives are linked to the improvement of methods for processing uncertain data, the application of adaptive analysis models, and the integration of artificial intelligence tools for forecasting risks. The findings of this study can be applied to develop practical recommendations for the continuous monitoring and enhancement of the economic security of both traditional and innovation-driven enterprises, thereby strengthening their resilience in an increasingly volatile and competitive global economy.
