The article examines aspects of state policy to stimulate the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine (using the example of Lviv region). The forms and types of stimulation of the development and mobility of small and medium-sized businesses in war conditions, as well as the accelerated European integration of Ukraine actualized by it, are analyzed. The purpose of the study is to analyze the forms and types of economic mechanisms for stimulating the development and mobility of small and medium-sized businesses in the region in the context of Ukraine's European integration. The general logic of analyzing the forms and types of economic mobility of SME entities in the region is determined. The general results of the analysis of the dynamics of the number of SMEs in Ukraine and Lviv region in 2010-2023, the performance indicators of SMEs in Ukraine and Lviv region in 2010-2023, the SSC rate and its minimum size for SMEs in Ukraine in 2011-2025 are presented, structure of SME entities by size and status of legal and physical entities in Ukraine and Lviv region in 2010-2023. Conclusions are drawn regarding the quality of the economic mechanism formed in the region to stimulate the development and mobility of small and medium-sized businesses in the region in the context of Ukraine's European integration. It is indicated that some indicators from macro analysis with interpretation on the regional dimension allow to draw conclusions about organizational, functional and spatial mobility. Organizational mobility is revealed by data on flexible forms of employment, functional mobility - by the activities of SMEs in various types of economic activity and by special aggregations (for example, “technology and knowledge”, which characterize the innovative component of activity). Spatial mobility, unfortunately, for compelling reasons, allows us to analyze the available indicators of enterprise relocation, although they do not always contain information about their size. Therefore, it is relevant to investigate the economic mobility of SMEs during the war in order to identify the features of their adaptation to new challenges.
