Today, implementing a system of professional development and motivation of workers of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine during martial law is critically important, as it ensures the stability and efficiency of the agricultural sector, which is the basis of the national economy and food security. This article aims to determine the features of implementing the professional development system and motivation of employees of agricultural enterprises in modern conditions.
The research results have determined that personnel management in the agricultural sector has its own characteristics, considering the specifics of work and seasonality. This has substantiated peculiarities in work, professional development, the system of motivation and retention of personnel, social responsibility, automation, and mechanization. The practical aspects and consequences of introducing new technologies into the activities of modern agricultural enterprises in the context of personnel management are also considered in more detail, providing valuable insights.
The main areas of implementation of the system of professional development and motivation of employees of agricultural enterprises were highlighted. The expediency of applying the competence approach in personnel management has been proven, based on which the list of necessary skills, competencies, and specifics of motivation of different groups of employees of agricultural enterprises is substantiated. Based on the foreign experience of the EU countries in this context, it was established that a systematic approach to training, stimulation, and support of workers in the agricultural sector allows for achieving high results and ensures sustainable industry development. It is noted that for agricultural enterprises in Ukraine, promising development directions in the context of professional development and employee motivation can be based on foreign experience, particularly in the examples of European Union countries.
