Abstract

The article explores personnel management issues considering the principles of sustainable development to enhance efficiency and ensure sustainable development of the enterprise. The concept of sustainable development is based on preserving ecological integrity, economic growth, and social justice. It is crucial for enterprises to ensure the interaction of ecological and technological processes in such an environment. The article highlights the significant correlation between the Human Development Index (HDI) of a country and personnel management based on sustainable development principles. The authors analyze how a high HDI level indicates effective resource management in the country and how personnel management based on sustainable development principles contributes to creating a favorable environment for the development and growth of human capital. The main components of both human capital development and sustainable development are economic, social, and environmental, each performing specific functions to ensure human capital development and overall sustainable development. Additionally, the article discusses the importance of implementing the concept of sustainable development in personnel management, which involves developing strategies and a systemic approach, as well as training personnel considering these principles. It is noted that human capital, formed by knowledge, skills, experience, and creativity, becomes the basis for the competitiveness of the economy and ensures its sustainable development. One of the key aspects of this process is the country's ability to effectively utilize and develop its human potential. The principles that should form the basis for building a personnel management model aimed at achieving sustainable development for both the organization itself and society as a whole are identified. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to implement corporate measures as part of the company's social policy aimed at increasing employee motivation and supporting corporate social policy. However, the effectiveness of such measures may be limited by a formalized approach to their implementation and insufficient involvement of management. Effective personnel management becomes a key element in achieving sustainable development, considering the importance of human capital in shaping competitive strategies and ensuring social responsibility.
