Abstract

The article examines the processes of development of the personnel management system of economic entities in the modern conditions of the economic state of Ukrainian society. A key component in the personnel management system is the employee motivation model. Lack of staff motivation is a fairly common phenomenon, which leads to a decrease in the productivity of the enterprise, hinders its development, or may even lead to its collapse. The study of the phenomenon of the influence of motivation and its improvement within a separate organization requires special attention in some areas, in particular in the educational field. The study of the motivation system in the educational sphere based on this article indicates that the situation in secondary education institutions is quite complex and requires special attention to implement changes and improve existing processes. The authors of the article believe that the construction of a high-quality motivation model is the foundation for the formation of a successful enterprise and the level of satisfaction of its employees. The article identifies the key factors that can create contradictions in the activities of teachers of secondary education institutions and cause their demotivation. Using the example of an educational institution, the level of workload of teachers was analyzed in comparison with the number of students and the level of average salary. The results of the conducted expert survey to assess the level of teachers' motivation were considered. The article proves that the general level of motivation of employees of an educational institution is insufficient. Most teachers feel a lack of motivation when performing their professional duties. Problem areas of the level of staff motivation and types of motivation that will be relevant for employees of an educational institution are highlighted. The authors argue that motivating staff in schools is a complex process where an effective motivation strategy can combine a combination of different approaches and models. In general, the article emphasizes the importance of developing individual and team needs and interests of teachers, developing a culture of cooperation and involvement in decision-making, as well as directing their motivation to achieve the goals of the educational institution.
