WAYS OF IMPROVING LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES

It was determined that today the problems of logistics activities of enterprises remain particularly relevant, since not only the effective functioning of any enterprise depends on it, but also its competitiveness on the market.
It was established that the introduction of quarantine and later martial law in our country forced the economy to adjust to a different mode of operation. However, there are areas that cannot be completely switched to a remote mode, in particular, the manufacture and sale of essential goods, the delivery of food and medicine to areas close to hostilities. Switching to the maximum possible remote mode of operation cannot solve the problem, therefore the delivery of goods and personal orders of consumers continues.
Logistics combines supply, storage, production and sales into one process. At the same time, the functions of logistics at the enterprise include the analysis of the need for material resources to meet production needs, forecasting demand for products, and collecting data on market needs. Logistics at the enterprise should also consider the issue of operational planning, which implies the reduction of stocks at the appropriate level of production and sales efficiency of the enterprise.
The main types of logistics activities are: supply and procurement; external and internal transportation; warehousing; inventory management; order picking; freight processing; physical distribution management; reverse distribution (reverse material flow management); choosing the location of the logistics system; logistic communications.
As practice shows, enterprises that use the principles of logistics management will provide have a high competitiveness of their products and servants due to the optimization of production-related costs production and sale of goods, acceleration of turnover of working capital, the most fully satisfied consumers in quality goods and service. Such an effect achieved by significantly reducing mate reserves real resources and finished products in the spheres of production production, supply and sales, reducing the duration of your production cycle and customer order fulfillment cycle, implementation of flexible automated and robotic of those productions that allow you to quickly switch to release of new types of products, creation of distributors of sales channels, etc.
