Abstract

The article updates the issues of sustainable, in particular ecologically oriented, development, strategizing the development of the socio-economic system on the basis of ecological and social balance. The purpose of the study was to substantiate the methodological and applied principles of the formation of investment infrastructure to ensure ecologically oriented economic growth.According to the results of the analysis of the ecological environment in Ukraine, three vectors of the policy of ecologically-oriented economic growth have been determined: (1) elimination of critical problems, (2) equalization of disparities, (3) realization of advantage. For each of the specified directions, guidelines and tasks of state policy are defined. It has been established that today in Ukraine there are negative trends regarding the slowing down of investment growth rates, insufficient effective and rational use of them, and the formation of an unsatisfactory investment structure by types of economic activity and sources of financing. The strategic priorities and tasks of the state policy of improving the investment environment in Ukraine and directing it to support ecologically oriented investment projects have been determined. To change the situation for the better, the following strategic priorities of the state investment policy in Ukraine should be achieved. This is the creation of a favorable investment environment; ensuring a high level of protection of the investor's interests and rights; increase in the volume of capital investments; improvement of the investment structure; increasing the efficiency of the investment process and the use of investments; development of cooperation in the field of investment, research and innovation activities; ensuring the implementation of socio-economic functions of investing; directing investment processes to equalize imbalances and disproportions in the spatial-structural and ecologically-oriented development of the territories of Ukraine.
